We are therefore looking for a Sales Development Representative: someone who can direct the Watermelon sales funnel. Someone who is good at finding, qualifying and warming up leads, and who is the driving force of our company.

This is what your job looks like:
Our commercial department consists of 3 teams: Marketing, Sales and Customer Success. The cooperation between these departments works as follows: the marketing department ensures a good market approach and supplies leads, among other things. The sales department ensures that as many potential customers as possible join as a customer. Once the customer is on board, the Customer Success department takes care of the onboarding 🚀
As an SDR, you are Watermelon's real "hunter" of the sales department, you will actively look for companies that can use our product. You track them down by reading carefully about our target group and by researching our leads. This way you know how to put Watermelon on the map with them by means of an enthusiastic, targeted pitch and to schedule a demo. You mainly see opportunities instead of problems and a little competition keeps you extra sharp.
You identify leads and connect with them through calls, emails, LinkedIn connections, personalized videos, social media messages and events;
You conduct research into the lead, both in the target market and the specific organization;
You get to know everything about the lead's company, and you know what their needs are;
Qualifying the lead: does this lead match the type of company that is getting value from our software;
You inform the lead with relevant content;
You are aware of the SaaS market developments and you know our product down to the last detail;
You approach as many prospects as possible by telephone!
Sales is not entirely new to you, you have already gained some experience;
You have an enthusiastic, commercial approach;
You are energetic and driven to grow Watermelon! ⚡️
You have an MBO / HBO diploma in a commercial direction;
If you get a target, you are only really happy if you have exceeded it;
You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, English is an advantage;
The dynamics of sales and a start-up suit your personality;
You like watermelon 🍉. This cannot be discussed.
