Our commercial branch consists of 3 teams: Marketing, Sales and Service & Support. In short, you see this collaboration developing between these departments: Marketing ensures a good market approach and delivers leads, Sales ensures that as many leads as possible join as a customer, as soon as the customer is on board, the Service & Support team takes care of the onboarding and further expansion on🚀
We are a Saas (Software as a Service) company operating in the B2B (business to business) market. We sell software licenses from our Watermelon platform to companies. In the Saas sales model you'll find the following structure. The SDR approaches the market and actively searches for leads, so you are a real 'hunter'. You approach the leads, pitch Watermelon, make a qualification and make sure to schedule a demo. You do this successfully by reading up on your target market and researching your specific lead.
The Account Executive will then start working on the demo. He/she explains in an in-depth conversation what Watermelon can do for the lead and how this offers added value. The Account Executive is therefore the 'closer' and ensures that as many leads as possible from the demo join as a customer.
