During demos, they know how to pitch the product in such a way that the customer becomes very enthusiastic about the benefits that the platform offers. As an Account Executive, you show the interested leads our product and take them into our chatbot world.

This is what your job looks like:
Our commercial department consists of 3 teams: Marketing, Sales and Customer Success. The cooperation between these departments works as follows: the marketing department ensures a good market approach and supplies leads, among other things. The sales department ensures that as many potential customers as possible join as a customer. Once the customer is on board, the Customer Success department takes care of the onboarding 🚀
You conduct sales conversations with potential customers, mainly through (digital) demos or strategy calls;
You identify opportunities in the market and respond to them;
You work efficiently from our CRM system;
You participate in trade fairs, both in the Netherlands and abroad;

Within Watermelon, a sales employee first starts as an SDR, to grow from there to the Account Executive role. In order to start directly as an Account Executive, it is therefore important that you have already worked as an SDR (or in sales) and are not unfamiliar with the tasks that an Account Executive performs;
You are enthusiastic, energetic and driven to make Watermelon grow! ⚡️
You have a HBO / WO diploma in a commercial direction;
If you get a target, you are only really happy when you have exceeded it;
You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, English is an advantage;
The dynamics of sales and a start-up suit your personality;
You like watermelon 🍉. This cannot be discussed.
