This is what your job looks like:

Our commercial department consists out of 3 teams: Marketing, Sales en Service&Support. In our commercial department you see the following collaboration: Marketing makes sure we have enough (qualified) leads, Sales closes as many leads as they can, as soon as the customer is on board the Service&Support team facilitates the onboarding and further succes of the customer🚀 

We are a Saas (Software as a Service) company operating in the B2B (business to business) market. We sell software licenses from our Watermelon platform to companies. In the Saas sales model you'll find the following structure. The SDR approaches the market and actively searches for leads, so this is a real 'hunter'. The SDR will fill your agenda with demo's or 'strategy calls' with prospects. You will then start working on the demo. You explain in an in-depth conversation what Watermelon can do for the lead and how this offers added value. You are therefore the 'closer' and you guide as many leads as possible toward becoming a customer.

You take care of:

  • Sales conversations: mainly demo's or 'strategy calls';
  • You give (online) demo's of our product;
  • You identify opportunities in the market and respond to this;
  • You work efficiently with our CRM systeem;
  • You collaborate in business events in the Netherland and abroad;
  • You close deals! 🔥

Requirements

Do you recognize yourself in these wishes?

  • Within Watermelon, a sales employee generally starts as an SDR to grow from there into the Account Executive role. In order to start directly as an Account Executive it is therefore important that you have already worked as an SDR and that you have already had a taste off the tasks for the Account Executive;
  • You're enthousiastic, energetic and driven the make Watermelon grow! ⚡️
  • You have a secondary vocational diploma in commerce (or comparable);
  • If you get a target, you don't just aim to achieve.. You want to overscore;
  • You speak English fluent, fluent Dutch is highly prefered as well;
  • The dynamics of sales and a start-up company growing to scale-up matches you personality;
  • You LOVE Watermelon 🍉

We offer you:

  • Start in level 1 of your position, depending on your experience and growth perspective you'll start with a salary between €2.000,- and €2.800,- gross per month (on the basis of fulltime; 40h);
  • Attractive bonus system with an individual and team component;
